Editorial firewall
Rankings are decided by editors using the method on How We Test. A higher commission never moves a product above a better-scoring alternative. If a product is unavailable in India, we say so rather than push a worse affiliate alternative silently.
Samples and gifted units
If a brand loans or gifts a unit, we note that on the review when it materially affects testing. Gifted products can still score poorly.
