A hardwire kit connects the dashcam to a constant 12V fuse with a low-voltage cutoff (often 11.8V–12.2V).

Use a multimeter or fuse tap guide for your vehicle; avoid random fuse picks that disable safety systems.

Battery packs (e.g. Cellink-style) isolate parking recording from the starter battery — better for frequent parking events.

Always test motion detection sensitivity after install; too sensitive fills cards with false triggers.
